Lest we forget: Akshay Kumar to Varun Dhawan, Bollywood celebs remembers 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack martyrs on its 12th anniversary

On November 26, 2008, several innocent citizens of Mumbai lost their lives in terrorist attacks at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Mahal Hotel, Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital and the Nariman House Jewish community centre. 12 years later, the city is yet to come to terms. Today, on the 26/11 attack's 12th anniversary, Bollywood celebrities paid tribute to the martyrs. 

Akshay Kumar paid tribute to those who lost their lives by tweeting, "26/11, a day Mumbaikars will never forget. My heartfelt tribute to the martyrs and victims of the #MumbaiTerrorAttack. We will forever be indebted to our bravehearts for their supreme sacrifice."

Varun Dhawan shared the Mumbai Police's post on Twitter and wrote, "Never forget !!!!"

Abhishek Bachchan also reposted it and wrote, "Lest we forget"

Shilpa Shetty shared a picture of a soldier giving a salute to the victims. She wrote, "Praying for peace and healing for every single life that was changed, lost, and altered..."

Raveen Tandon tweeted, “Never Forget . Never Forgive . #26/11.”

Sharing a poster of the attacks, Tusshar Kapoor wrote, "A symbol of the strength and resilience of this city that withstood the ghastly #MumbaiTerrorAttack! All thanks to our police force, the army & the people! #26/11"

Vicky Kaushal wrote, "A little light repels much darkness #standtogether #prayforpeace #remembering26/11"

Madhuri Dixit tweeted, "26/11 #MumbaiTerrorAttack Remembering the heroes who gave up their lives for our safety on this day, 12 years ago. I salute their spirit and bravery. Let's never forget their sacrifice."
