Sonu Nigam doesn't want son Neevan Nigam to become a singer in India, says 'I have already got him out of the country'

It won't be wrong to say Sonu Nigam is one of Bollywood's most versatile singers. Be it soulful romantic numbers or peppy party tracks, he has made a mark for himself in the film industry with his vast discography. Sonu, who stays with his family in Dubai, is in Mumbai to promote his devotional song titled Ishwar Ka Vo Sacha Banda. During an interview with a leading publication, the singer spoke about his son Neevan's aspiration to become a singer. The 47-year-old told that he doesn't want his son to become a singer in India. Calling him a 'born singer', Sonu said he wants him to decide his own career without interfering.

"Frankly, I don't want him to be a singer, at least not in this country. Anyway, he does not live in India anymore, he lives in Dubai. I have already got him out of India. He is a born singer but he has another interest in life. As of now, he is one of the topmost gamers of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He is number 2 in Fortnite. There is a game called Fortnite and he is the top gamers in the Emirates. He is a brilliant child with a lot of qualities and talent. And I don't want to tell him what to do. Let's see what he wants to do himself," Sonu said.
