Parineeti Chopra is all set to play the role of the badminton icon Saina Nehwal in the official biopic Saina and she is back to total fitness for the film. Now, after much wait, Saina has reshared a photo of Parineeti as her from the film. She has shared a new look from her biopic, calling the lead actor Parineeti her ‘lookalike’. In the photo, Parineeti looks focused on the match as she gets ready to serve. This is the second photo of Parineeti as the ace shuttler that has emerged.
“My lookalike @ParineetiChopra #sainamovie,” Saina wrote on Twitter. The film started shooting last year after Parineeti underwent intensive training to play the badminton player. Shraddha Kapoor was earlier supposed to play Saina but she was replaced by Parineeti later.

For Parineeti, Saina is definitely an incredibly special film given the level of commitment that she is showing for the filming process. Before the shoot began, she trained in badminton for more than 4 months. She also met the sporting icon Saina Nehwal at her home to take notes and perfect her acting in the biopic.
The Saina Nehwal biopic is directed by Amole Gupte and is being produced by T-series.
