Sandalwood Drug Case: Bengaluru cops raid Vivek Oberoi’s home in search of brother-in-law Aditya Alva

Vivek Oberoi’s Juhu house has been raided by the Bangalore cops in the Sandalwood drugs racket case. His brother-in-law Aditya Alva has been named a suspect in the case.

A police officer said, “Aditya Alva is absconding. Vivek Oberoi is his relative and we got some information that Alva is there. So we wanted to check. So a court warrant was obtained and Crime Branch team has gone to his house in Mumbai.”

Vivek’s wife Priyanka Alva has also been questioned over her brother’s alleged involvement in the drug case. Aditya, the son of former Karnataka minister Jeevaraj Alva, is accused in a case involving drugs allegedly being supplied to singers and actors in the Kannada film industry.

Actors Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani were arrested in the case. The home of Aditya Alva in Bengaluru was also searched.
