The to-be-parents who are in Dubai for the ongoing Indian Premier League 2020 where Virat is playing as team Royal Challengers Bangalore's captain, took the internet by storm with their sweet PDA. The cricketer, during the match against M.S Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings, had a superlative inning and scored an unbeaten 90 runs. Virat's excellent game led Royal Challengers Bangalore to a score of 169 for 4 wickets.
Soon after RCB finished the game by defeating Chennai Super Kings, Anushka who was in the stands cheering for her husband, had a wide bright smile on her face. Showering love on husband Virat, the actress was seen giving a flying kiss to him. A pregnant Anushka, though didn't attend all RCB matches, chose to be there for the one held on Saturday. Moments after their sweet gesture towards each other, Twitter was left in awe and some demanded that Anushka should be credited for Virat's great form.

Anushka, in the past, was at the receiving end when Virat failed to put up a great game on the cricket field. During the match held in Dubai on September 24 between RCB and Kings XI Punjab, veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, in the commentary box, made a distasteful comment against Anushka and Virat. The actress, hitting back at Gavaskar, asked when will people stop dragging her into cricket and hold her responsible for her husband's poor performance. Gavaskar, in return, said he never made sexist remarks and his statement was taken in the wrong light.
