PeepingMoon.com, exclusively on September 06, 2020, informed its readers that Arjun Kapoor was tested positive for COVID-19. The actor along with his girlfriend Malaika Arora contracted the virus and were home-quarantined. Now, a month later, Arjun, on Instagram, informed that he has tested negative and has recovered fully. The 35-year-old actor told that his reports came over the weekend. Urging people to stay safe and not take the virus lightly, Arjun expressed excitement to return to work. 

“Hi! I’m happy to report that I have tested negative to coronavirus over the weekend. I’m feeling better after making a full recovery and excited to return to work. Thank you everyone for your good wishes and positivity. This virus is serious so I request every one to take it seriously. People should understand that coronavirus affects everyone - young and old. So, please WEAR a MASK at all times! Thank you BMC for your support and help and a huge salute to all the frontline workers who are risking everything to take care of us. We are forever indebted to you guys,” Arjun wrote on Instagram.

Malaika, on September 20, shared a picture of herself and informed that she has recovered from COVID-19. The actress, after taking proper rest, resumed the shoot of India's Best Dancer on Monday. During her home-quarantine, Nora Fatehi had taken her place on the show. 

Workwise, Arjun was shooting for Kaashvie Nair's cross-border rom-com before testing positive. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari. He is yet to start shooting for Mohit Suri's Ek Villain 2 followed by Bhoot Police.
