Ayushmann Khurrana and Alia Bhatt have teamed up for a project. No, no, it is not a film, although we would love to see them together after going gaga over their chemistry in a new advertisement. Ayushmann and Alia are lighting up the screens with their camaraderie in the commercial for the Indian paint giant, JSW Paints.
Ayushmann shared the advertisement on his Instagram with the caption, “Wouldn’t it be great if all colours were equal? India, let’s think beautiful and embrace every colour with @JSWPaints. #JSWPaints #EmbraceEveryColour #HarRangHarKisiKa #ColoursForAll #ThinkBeautiful.”
The commercial debunks the stereotypes associated with the colours-feminine, masculine, religion-based, class-based, gender-based, mine vs yours etc. The advertisement sees Ayushmann and Alia as a couple who with their actions and life choices advocate the fact that colours are universal in nature and applicable to all. Our Indian culture is colourful, vibrant and kaleidoscopic that encompasses and accepts everyone with their diverse nature, quirks, personalities and religion and hence colour should not be segregated into compartments and categories.
The advertisement beautifully dismisses the ‘blue is for boys and pink is for girls’ stereotypes and ‘orange and red is for Hindus and green for Muslims’ stereotype and for that the makers deserve an applause. Alia’s and Ayushmann’s acting prowess is so heart-warming that we can’t help but give a shoutout to filmmakers to cast them in a project soon.
