'Kangana Ranaut must be crying in one corner,' say netizens after PM Narendra Modi praises Karan Johar's 'passion for cinema'

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, celebrated his 70th birthday on Thursday. Making the occasion special for him, Bollywood celebrities showered love and good wishes through social media. PM Modi, replying to everyone's message, thanked them for their wishes. He also reverted to filmmaker Karan Johar's wish. Karan, who has been facing unruly and unkind backlash amid the nepotism debate, said it is his good fortune to discuss movies and the impact of cinema with PM Modi.

"Happy Birthday honorable PM @narendramodi ji! It has been my good fortune to discuss love for movies and the impact of our cinema on the global footprint with you. Your graciousness, warmth & understanding has always served as a guiding light! Wishing you health and happiness!" Karan tweeted. In response to this, PM Modi wrote, "Of course! Your passion towards cinema is adorable. Thank you for your wishes"

Twitter users were quick to notice PM Modi's reply to Karan and started a hilarious meme fest. Not against Karan, but Kangana Ranaut. Kangana, in the past few months, has been making headlines for lashing out at Bollywood and Karan.

While one user wrote, "Kangana must be crying in one corner," the other one shared a small clip from Kangana’s film Queen.
