PeepingMoon.com, exclusively, on August 06, 2020, informed its readers that after opting out of Ek Villain 2, Aditya Roy Kapur has signed Ahmed Khan's next. The choreographer turned director might produce the action-thriller. Now, in the latest development, a report of an entertainment portal has it that the actioner is titled Om. A source close to the film told the portal that it will go on floors around November. The recce and post-production work is reportedly in progress. The source further revealed that Tara Sutaria will be playing the lead opposite Aditya.
"It’s an action-packed film with a strong undercurrent of romance and the makers are all set to take it on floors around November. The recce and pre-production work is in progress right now, and Adi plays the titular character of Om in the film. The leading lady is Tara Sutaria. She was to work with Adi in Ek Villain 2, however, after Adi’s exit, the pair couldn’t be explored there. But the makers of Om felt that Adi and Tara would bring forward a fresh dynamic in the story," the source told.

PeepingMoon sources previously informed that the film will feature Aditya in a larger-than-life role and will be high on action. The film is believed to have adrenaline-pumping action sequences but different from the ones shown in Baaghi 2 and 3, which were directed by Ahmed.
