Saif Ali Khan announces his autobiography, calls it a 'selfish endeavour'; book to be out on stands in 2021

The Nawab of Bollywood Saif Ali Khan hit a half-century on August 16, 2020. Having been a part of Bollywood for over two decades, the actor has seen it all. Recalling his journey in cinema since his first film Parampara, Saif is all set to write his autobiography. The actor who is expecting his second child with his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2021, will be shedding light on his family, career, success, failures, influences and inspirations. The book will be published next year. Talking to a leading daily about penning an autobiography on turning 50, Saif called documenting the events of his life a 'selfish endeavour'. 

"So many things have changed and will be lost with time if we don’t record them. It would be nice to look back; to remember and to record. It has been funny and moving, and I must say, this is quite a selfish endeavour. I do hope others enjoy the book, too, of course!" Saif told.

Workwise, Saif was last seen in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. He has films like Bhoot PoliceBunty Aur Babli 2 and Amazon Prime Video's Dilli in the pipeline. As per reports, he will be playing Raavan in Om Raut's Adipurush.  

On the personal front, Kareena and Saif issued a joint statement announcing that they are expecting an addition to the family. The couple has a three-and-a-half-year-old son Taimur Ali Khan. For Saif, it will be his fourth child. He shares daughter Sara Ali Khan and son Ibrahim Ali Khan with his former wife, actress Amrita Singh.
