BMC removes ‘Containment Zone’ notices from outside Bachchan properties in Juhu

The nation’s prayers have been answered! And even as veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan leads his family to recovery from Covid-19 in Nanavati Hospital of Mumbai, the BMC today removed its notices declaring the Big B’s three JVPD properties as ‘Containment Zones’.

Yes, Jalsa, Janak and Prateeksha that were sanitized and then sealed by the BMC as soon as Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan tested Covid-positive two weeks ago, are now free of any traces of the dreaded virus. The Bachchans, including bahu Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya, continue to remain at Nanavati and are believed to be speedily recovering.

The senior actor, whose last film Gulabo Sitabo was released on OTT by Amazon Prime Video in June, has not had an uneventful stay at the hospital. He slammed the rumour by tweeting, “... this news is incorrect, irresponsible, fake and an incorrigible LIE !”

Meanwhile, fans will be waiting for Mr. Bachchan to return to Jalsa and for the lockdown restrictions to be lifted so that they might resume their Sunday evening vigil outside his Juhu residence for a darshan of him. The actor keeps them updated about his health through social media posts. His blog is currently alive and active with motivational stories and tales of the isolation ward of the hospital.
