The elder daughter of late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor followed her mother's footsteps into Bollywood with Shashank Khaitan directed Dhadak in 2018. While the 23-year-old has some of the most promising films in the pipeline, all eyes are now on her younger sister Khushi Kapoor. Khushi, who is currently studying at New York Film Academy is said to make her Bollywood debut soon. Talking about her acting aspiration in a video that went viral, Khushi expressed her desire to enter the film business like her family. She said that her family has been in the business for years but she has seen it from a distance. Stating that before working with them, she wants to 'improve her place in the industry'.

"I will definitely love to work with my family at some point in the future. I would like to kind of prove myself and prove my place in the industry before I jump into working with my family. There's really no other way to go about it but just immerse yourself into it," Khushi said in the video.

Talking about the academy, Khushi said, "I really enjoy all of my classes over here but the ones that have stuck with me are acting for films and improv.
