It won't be wrong to say that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma make for the nation's favourite celebrity couple. Be it Virat cheering for his wife's films and shows or Anushka supporting her husband during his matches, they set major goals. Gushing over the actress, the Indian cricket team captain, during an interview, told that the character of Alizeh in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is his all-time favourite. Saying that she was effortless and played it with conviction, Virat added that it made him fall in love with her even more.
"Her role as Alizeh in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil continues to be my all-time favourite. She played that character not just effortlessly, but with a conviction that made me fall in love with her even more," Virat told.
Talking about adopting a vegetarian diet after Anushka, Virat said he can never eat meat because of her love for animals. "Anushka has been vegetarian for four years, while I turned to it two years ago for health reasons. I can never eat meat again because of her love for animals—it made me look at things differently," he added.
Thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic and a nationwide lockdown, Anushka and Virat got some time to spend together. The couple, on social media, would often share sneak peeks of their daily activities. Anushka, during the same interview, revealed that due to their hectic schedules, the couple spent only 21 days together in the first six months of their marriage.
