Akshay Kumar’s highly anticipated film Sooryavanshi that is directed by Rohit Shetty is awaiting a theatrical release as soon as the theatres open. The film is a big collaboration between Rohit, Akshay and Karan Johar. Recently, reports were coming in that Akshay and Rohit had decided to drop out Karan and return the investment of Dharma Productions.
However, all these reports are completely untrue as Karan is still very much a part of Akshay’s and Katrina Kaif’s film and is producing it along with Reliance Entertainment. Reliance Entertainment has issued a statement calling the rumours untrue.

Sooryavanshi is a part of Rohit's cop universe and also stars Ranveer Singh in his Simmba and Ajay Devgn in his Singham avatars. The film's trailer had already created quite a buzz when it was released and although the film's release has been postponed due to Coronavirus lockdown it will surely make its way to the theatres once things return to normalcy. The film is eyeing a Diwali release this year.
