Once things get back to normal the narrations will happen: Producer Murad Khetani on Ranbir Kapoor's gangster drama with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Shahid Kapoor's and Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh completed one year since it released on June 21, 2019 Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film was the Hindi remake of the director's Telugu project Arjun Reddy. While Kabir Singh garnered attention for its intense and dark story, Sandeep is currently working on a script that will elevate the toxicity. Rumoured to be titled Devil, reports of the film being in the making with Ranbir Kapoor were doing the rounds for quite some time now. Now, producer Murad Khetan has confirmed that the team is waiting for the narration as the script is locked. 

“The script is locked. Before the lockdown brought everything to a standstill, Sandeep was writing and looking to narrate it to the actors in May or June. He is in Hyderabad right now and once things get back to normal the narrations will happen and we will proceed with the casting." Murad shared. Buzz is, the film is titled Devil. He clarified, “There is no title yet. All I can say is that it is an intense gangster drama. I am waiting to hear the final narration."

As per an earlier report, Ranbir discussed Devil with his best friend and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji who believes it can become one of the most defining films of his career. No official confirmation, however, has come from Ranbir yet.
