Karan Johar's twins Yash Johar and Roohi Johar are undoubtedly social media's current favourites, thanks to their hilariously savage and fun Lockdown With The Johar series on Instagram. The three-year-old kids gave a glimpse into their innocent wit and bonding with their 'dadda' and his industry colleagues too. Talking about Yash's fascination with Mr. Bachchan, Karan, during an interview with a leading daily, revealed that he recognises the veteran actor from an advertisement and feels he will come and play with him too. "Yash recognises Amitabh Bachchan from the Cry advertisement where he is surrounded by kids. So they think he will come and play with them also," Karan quipped.
Not only Mr. Bachchan, Yash and Roohi can't get over Shah Rukh Khan and remembered him on spotting a Mick Jagger poster in Karan's room. The filmmaker added that for the twins, Shah Rukh isn't a superstar but their close friend AbRam Khan's father. He stated that the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor is never 'uncle' for them but always 'Shah Rukh Khan'. "They don’t know what film stars and celebrities are. They just know him as AbRam’s father. But somehow he is never Shah Rukh uncle, unlike their other friends’ dads, but always Shah Rukh Khan! In fact, there is a Mick Jagger poster in my room, and the other day they called him Shah Rukh Khan," Karan gushed.
Saying that Mr. Bachchan and Shah Rukh have struck a chord with Yash-Roohi amongst all of them they met in the past, Karan said their persona is such that children recognise them easily. "It is interesting that among all the people they have met, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have struck a chord with them. That goes on to show the kind of X-factor these people have even outside their screen persona, something that even children recognise," he told.
