Sushant Singh Rajput's US-based sister to fly to Mumbai on June 16, requests to waive-off seven-day quarantine period on arrival

The untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput by suicide sent across a wave of shock in Bollywood and television industry. The actor, aged 34, was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his Bandra apartment on Sunday. Sushant was in depression for the past six months. Sushant will be cremated by his family in Mumbai. The family arrived from Patna last night. However, the Kedarnath actor's sister Shweta Singh Kirti is still stuck in the US.

Shweta, on her Facebook account, asked people to help her with flight tickets to India. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, she was finding it difficult to make arrangements for her urgent travel. "I need to fly to India ASAP.... not able to get any flight tickets... if anyone can help... please let me know," she wrote. Hours later, she informed that tickets are arranged and she will be flying to the country on June 16, that is tomorrow. However, she mentioned that a seven-day quarantine will be difficult to follow on arrival as she needs to be with the family. She further asked whether there is any way out. "By everyone’s help.... tickets to India are confirmed. I am flying on 16th, will reach Mumbai via Delhi. Worried about 7 Day quarantine period... is there a way it can be waived off? I need to get to my family soon," Shweta said.
