On Thursday, reputed global magazine Forbes released the list of the highest-paid celebrities across the world this year. The list that commemorates the highest-earning personalities saw Kylie Jenner preside over the top slot. The 22-year-old beauty mogul brought in $590 million. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar became the only Indian actor to mark his presence on the list. The Bollywood superstar secured the 52nd rank with $48.5 million earning.
The Sooryavanshi actor outranked international celebrities such as Conor McGregor, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, Rihanna, Jackie Chan, Adam Sandler and many others. Kylie raced ahead of her brother-in-law Kanye West, who secured the 2nd slot with $170 million earning. Kylie's sister Kim Kardashian West occupied the 48th rank with $49.5 million. Sportspersons Roger Federer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi were ranked 3rd, 4th and 5th with earnings of $106.3 million, $105 million and $104 million respectively.
Talking about Akshay, he has been delivering blockbusters in Bollywood with films like Good Newwz, Kesari, Housefull 4 and Mission Mangal. The superstar, who is currently spreading awareness regarding Coronavirus pandemic with ad films and social media posts, is gearing up for the release of Sooryavanshi co-starring Katrina Kaif. The Rohit Shetty directorial will release once theatres will reopen. Akshay also has Laxmmi Bomb, Bachchan Pandey, Prithviraj and Bell Bottom in the pipeline.
