Karan Johar’s two house helps test positive for COVID-19, filmmaker issues statement on family’s well being but will remain in quarantine

After Janhvi Kapoor’s household staffs tested positive for Coronavirus last week, today Karan Johar shared that two of his domestic staffs have also tested positive for COVID-19. Karan shared that as soon as his staffs were detected positive they were put into quarantine in a section of his building and the BMC was immediately notified. He further stated in his statement that the BMC fumigated and sanitized his building as per the norms and the family was also tested for Coronavirus.

However, thankfully, Karan and his family members and other staff have tested negative but will be staying in home quarantine for the next 14 days for the safety of everyone around them. Read his entire statement below.

He also stated that best possible medical care will be given to his house helps and wrote, “We’re sure that they will be fighting fit soon!”

On a happier note, Karan turned 48-years-old today and celebrated his birthday with his twins Yash and Roohi and mother Hiroo Johar at home.
