Coming from a sports background, Deepika Padukone has time and again proven that nobody in Bollywood can beat her in badminton. Her father, Prakash Padukone, ace badminton player is indeed proud of her skills on the court and onscreen too. Deepika, in previous interviews revealed that she has defeated husband Ranveer Singh with a greater margin in the past. Talking about this, Ranveer, during an Instagram live, with Sunil Chhetri, confessed being embarrassed after scoring merely three points in the game. The Indian football team captain disclosed that those points are given to him considering he is the son-in-law of Prakash.
The Padmaavat actor, in his defense, told that Deepika has been ruthless on the court. He further added that contrary to his belief that he is a good athlete, he is unable to even put up a good game opposite his wife. He then said that badminton is all about skills and not just swinging the shuttle and cock in any random manner. Ranveer assured that he will learn the skills soon and compete with Deepika to score more than 10 out of 21.
In response to this, Deepika, who joined the live conversation, commented asking him to join her father's badminton training centre.
