'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' to 'Raja Babu', Ajay-Kajol, Akshay, Ranveer, Karan and others soak into '90s vibes by recalling their favourite films

It won't be wrong to say that the '90s was one of the glorious years of Bollywood. Be it giving a new definition to romance or pulling off slapstick comedy like no other, the era added some iconic films to the history of cinema. Three decades later, its charm is still intact. Now, as celebrities are confined to their homes due to Coronavirus lockdown, they went down the memory lane and recalled their favourite '90s films.

Twitter India, today, kickstarted a conversation wherein celebrities have to share their favourite film from the '90s and nominate five friends to do so. The bandwagon started with Kajol. The actress went on to mention her own projects Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha. She further nominated Karan Johar, Ajay Devgn, Tanishaa Mukerji, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.

Taking the challenge forward, Ajay shared that Zakhm is his favourite. He tagged Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan to reveal their answers. Akshay, in his tweet, mentioned Sangharsh and Andaz Apna Apna forwarding the baton to Karan and Ranveer Singh.

Karan wrote, "Hey Akshay! I owe my journey in cinema to the 90s ! My favourite films in that decade are #HumAapkehaikaun and #Lamhe ( not including my most favourite #DDLJ as I worked on it)". The filmmaker nominated Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. Abhishek, on the other hand, named Agneepath and tagged Riteish Deshmukh, Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham. Riteish responded stating Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Kuch Kuch Hota and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. He nominated Madhuri Dixit, Shah Rukh and Karan once again.

Ranveer, responding to Akshay's tweet, said Judwaa and Raja Babu are his favourites.
