The world celebrated Mother's Day yesterday with joy, fervour and gratitude. People all over the globe shared heartwarming messages, throwback pictures and videos to thank their mothers for their support, love and understanding. Joining the bandwagon were a number of Bollywood celebrities. Arjun Kapoor, who lost his mother Mona Kapoor in 2012 to cancer, remembered fond memories of her and recorded a special message for all moms in the world. The actor, on his Instagram account, shared the video and said that dealing with the ongoing nationwide lockdown and Mother's Day is proving difficult for him. Mona breathed her last two months before Arjun's first film Ishaqzaade released.

Most importantly Happy Mother’s Day Mom miss you always & forever,” wrote an emotional Arjun while urging people to respect and love their mothers.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who is coping up with the death of her father, actor Rishi Kapoor on April 30, wished her mother, actress Neetu Kapoor a Happy Mother's Day on Instagram. Riddhima, currently in Mumbai to be with the family in the hour of grief, wrote, " Love & only love - Happy Mother’s Day Ma " while sharing a picture with Neetu.
Rishi breathed his last at the age of 67 in Mumbai after battling cancer for two years.
