Watch: Salman Khan uses food truck ‘Being Haangryy’ designed for his film ‘Radhe’ to feed the hungry amid lockdown

Salman Khan is doing whatever it takes to keep hope afloat amid the Coronavirus outbreak in India. From giving financial aid to 25,000 workers of film industry to sponsoring rations for the family of daily wage workers, he has now launched a food truck with a play on his brand ‘Being Human’ and named ‘Being Haangryy’ written on it to ensure that the lesser privileged do not die of starvation.

In a tweet, Shiv Sena leader Rahul Kanal thanked the actor for taking this novel route and helping the poor in this time of crisis. Sharing a video of the truck, he wrote, ““Thank you @Beingsalmankhan bhai for being there and silently doing something which is needed,service to mankind is service to the almighty!!!Jai Ho!!! I shall surely try and do my bit following the lockdown norms and request our Fanclub family to practice the same #BeingHaangryy.”

Originally, the food truck was designed for his forthcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, which was scheduled for Eid 2020 release. But, as the shoots are on halt, the superstar utilized the truck for a social cause. Reportedly, Every day around 1000 ration packets are being prepared in a Bandra restaurant named Bhaijaan. 500 packets in the morning and 500 packets in the evening are being distributed in the slums, railway stations, hospitals and other areas of Mumbai. 

The netizens are applauding the actor’s initiative and hailing him for his charity.
