Leaving behind an indelible mark and an unmatched legacy, Bollywood's and Hollywood's acclaimed actor Irrfan passed away at the age of 54 on April 29. The acting legend was battling a neuroendocrine tumour for the last two years and was admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani hospital for a colon infection days before his demise. Now, as the world fondly remembers Irrfan, his elder son Babil Khan has been sharing some beautiful memories of his father on his social media platform.
Babil, on Instagram, today, shared videos of Irrfan diving into ice-cold waterbody during a tour. Giving a glimpse into the veteran actor's cheerful and fun self, Babil revisited priceless moments spent with his father. According to reports, Irrfan was a great swimmer.
He was cremated at the Versova Kabristan and owing to the nationwide lockdown, limited people were permitted to attend his funeral amid social distancing rules. Apart from his wife Sutapa Sikdar, Babil and younger son Ayaan, celebrities like Vishal Bharadwaj, Kapil Sharma, Tigmanshu Dhulia were present for the funeral.
Workwise, his last film was Homi Adajania's Angrezi Medium which released in March this year.
