Babil Khan shares throwback pictures of father Irrfan from his National School of Drama days

Hollywood's and Bollywood's rare gem Irrfan breathed his last on April 29 and sent everyone into a zone of shock. The actor passed away at the age of 54 after battling a neuroendocrine tumour for the last two years. Now, as the whole world remembers the acting marvel, late Irrfan's elder son Babil Khan, has been sharing unseen pictures of his father on social media platforms.

Babil, on Instagram, yesterday, shared throwback pictures of late Irrfan from his National School of Drama days. In the priceless photos, a young Irrfan can be seen engrossed in his work. Irrfan, before breathing his last, was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital for a colon infection. He was cremated at the Versova Kabristan and owing to the nationwide lockdown, limited people were permitted to attend his funeral amid social distancing rules. Apart from his wife Sutapa Sikdar, Babil and younger son Ayaan, celebrities like Vishal Bharadwaj, Kapil Sharma, Tigmanshu Dhulia were present for the funeral. 

Irrfan's last film was Homi Adajania's Angrezi Medium co-starring Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia and Deepak Dobriyal. It released in March this year and is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
