A couple of days back, Housefull 4 actress Kriti Kharbanda was in Delhi to attend the engagement event of boyfriend Pulkit Samrat’s brother. She took an international flight to return to Mumbai and oon after touching base, she was down with cold. Expectedly so, she got paranoid that she had contracted the COVID-19 virus and thus, decided to be in quarantine ever since.
Sharing her ordeal with a leading daily, Kriti said that the doctors advised her to monitor her symptoms and pointed out that she was 'terrified'. She said, "I thought it best not to mingle given the symptoms. I was terrified I had contracted the virus but since test kits were not available in the country back then and I did not have a fever, the doctors advised me to distance myself and monitor my symptoms. I was paranoid for the first three days, then, I started to feel better.”
To her happiness, her BF Pulkit has been living in the same building as hers and it has certainly made things easier for her. “We had decided to stay in the same building to dodge traffic, but now, I am grateful to have him with me. I can’t imagine how other couples, who don’t stay together are dealing with the lockdown," she mentioned.
India is currently in its last leg of a 21-day lockdown. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country have gone beyond 6,500.
