AbRam Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Rajinikanth and Kangana Ranaut light candles and diyas as a mark of respect for officials battling a war against Coronavirus

The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, on Friday, addressed his countrymen with respect to the alarming spread of the novel COVID-19. The rapid growth of the virus has confined the citizens to their homes and has become a cause of panic and worry. To ease the stressful situation and to show unity as a country, Mr. Modi urged people to step out in their respective balconies and light a candle, diya or flash a torchlight. Extending support to this initiative, Bollywood showed in large numbers.

Madhuri Dixit lit diyas as a mark of respect for those helping the city win the battle against Coronavirus.

Rajinikanth along with his wife also lit candles at their residence. South star Mahesh Babu was also a part of the initiative's success.

Kangana Ranaut, who is currently in Manali, her hometown, lit diyas all around her house.
