9 Baje 9 Minute: Kartik Aaryan, Shraddha Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Kriti Sanon support PM Modi's initiative by lighting candles and diyas

The alarming spread of Coronavirus has confined the citizens of India to their homes. With a complete lockdown announced till April 14, everyone is locked inside their houses. Now, with nearly one week left for the shutdown to lift, Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi engaged his countrymen by asking them to light a candle, diya or mobile flashlight for nine minutes at 9 pm today. A measure to show unity, the activity has been receiving a great response, just like the janta curfew that took place on March 22.

Kartik Aaryan lit diyas at his residence. The actor, dressed in kurta, seemed to be elated as he prayed for the safety of the nation. "Together, Everything is Possible," Kartik wrote on Instagram.
