It isn't an unknown fact that Karan Johar is extremely close to his family comprising of his mother Hiroo Johar and twins Roohi and Yash. Like a doting son, the filmmaker shares an unconditional bond with Hiroo, so much so, his daughter's name is derived by rearranging her name. Now, as she celebrates her birthday today, Karan, on Instagram, shared a sweet wish for her.
Karan, in the post for Hiroo, called her 'the wind beneath his wings'. He also shared multiple pictures with her and made our hearts melt. "The wind beneath my wings....my voice of reason....my conscience keeper and the big love story of my life! I love you so much mama! @hiroojohar happy birthday!!!" Karan wrote.
Workwise, Karan, under his banner Dharma Productions is financing a number of projects including Sooryavanshi, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Shershaah, Brahmastra and many others. He recently associated himself with Kiara Advani's Netflix film Guilty. Karan will be directing the Mughal period drama Takht starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. The film will release on December 24, 2021.
