The nation woke up to an unfortunate piece of news regarding the passing away of television actress Krutika Desai's husband Imtiaz Khan. Aged 77, Imtiaz was the brother of veteran actor late Amjad Khan. He was an actor by profession and acted in films like Yaadon Ki Baarat, Dharmatma and many more in the 70s and 80s. Imtiaz passed away yesterday.

Imtiaz is survived by his wife Krutika and daughter Ayesha Khan. The reason for his death is still unknown. Soon after the news broke out, condolences started pouring in on social media platforms. Jaaved Jaaferi and Anju Mahendroo remembered him.

Imtiaz was the son of late actor Jayant. Krutika is known for her work in shows like Uttaran, Buniyaad, Chandrakanta, Mere Angne Mein amongst several others.
