Giving a funny twist to Hrithik Roshan’s film 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai', Eros registers 'Corona Pyaar Hai' as film title amid COVID-19 pandemic

In the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, all filmmaking and producing bodies have unanimously decided to stop shooting for all kinds of entertainment formats temporarily. However, filmmakers are certainly planning to make films and that too, on the global Coronavirus outbreak across the globe. Yes, you read that right!

A leading daily reported recently that Eros International has gone ahead and registered Corona Pyaar Hai as a film title, giving a funny twist to the Hrithik Roshan’s 2000 release, superhit film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. A source from IFTPC (Indian Film and Television Producer Council) informed that Eros International registered the title last week.

Confirming the same, producer Krishika Lulla said, “Currently the scripting is going on. The subject (of the epidemic) is going to be set in a love story. Currently, we are fine tuning the script and are waiting for things to subside, as things have come to a standstill now." Looks like the filmmakers and production houses are keen to cash in on the ongoing pandemic.

Not to miss, the report added that another interesting title Deadly Corona has also been registered by another film body IMPPA (Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association).
