Ever since the announcement of Prabhas' next with Mahanati director Nag Ashwin sent fans into a zone of excitement. The yet-to-be-titled film is already the highly anticipated one of 2021. With Prabhas being roped in to play the lead of a pan-world project, it is needless to say that an actress of high caliber and popularity will be signed. A while ago, reports did the rounds that Deepika Padukone is being considered by director Ashwin who wanted her in his super successful Mahanati. However, a report of a South-based publication indicated that Prabhas is keen on bringing Katrina Kaif on board. Katrina is undoubtedly one of the leading actresses in Bollywood currently and with her presence, the level of the film will go a notch higher, but only if she signs it.
“Prabhas has collaborated with Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame for a movie, which is expected to go on the floor by the end of this year. Prabhas wants to get Katrina Kaif on the board for his upcoming film which will be produced by Ashwini Dutt,” a source close to the development informed the daily. Well, now it remains interesting to see who amongst Katrina and Deepika give their positive nod first.

Prabhas, in Nag Ashwin's film, is said to play the role of a superhero and the makers will take it on floors later this year. The pan-world film will be financed by C. Aswini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Entertainments. The film is eyeing a 2021 release.
Workwise, Prabhas is currently shooting for a yet-to-be-titled film along with Jaan starring Pooja Hegde. He was last seen in Saaho with Shraddha Kapoor. On the other hand, Katrina will be seen in Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar.
