Karisma Kapoor confesses she has never watched 'Andaz Apna Apna', reveals the challenges behind kissing Aamir Khan in 'Raja Hindustani'

Karisma Kapoor is all set to make her debut on the digital platform with Ekta Kapoor's web series titled Mentalhood. She is currently busy promoting her show across the country and recently sat down for a chat with a popular film critic. During the interaction, Karisma talked about her film journey so far apart from revealing some interesting anectodes.

She confessed that she never got the time to actually watch Andaz Apna Apna. “Can I be honest? I don’t think I have watched Andaz Apna Apna. Because at that time, we were doing three-four shifts a day. There was no time. We did not have time to watch our own films,” she said. The comic caper, which released in 1994, became a cult classic in the following years. The film starred Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon and Karisma in the lead roles. Speaking further, the actress disclosed how the four actors were not talking to each other during the filming process. In Andaz Apna Apna, there was a time when none of the actors were talking to each other. This cult film was made with all of us not even speaking to each other. It’s quite funny,” she said.

Karisma also worked with Aamir in Raja Hindustani. Speaking on her much-talked-about kissing scene with Aamir in Raja Hindustani, she quipped, "Like people say that kiss and all, but what we have gone through during that shoot for three days," adding, "In Ooty, in February... we were like ki kab khatam ho raha hai ye kiss scene! It was freezing cold with storm fans in the month of February with freezing cold water and we worked in those circumstances from 7 till 6 in the evening, shivering away between the takes."

MentalHood will air on ALT Balaji from March 11.
