Dabboo Ratnani, for the last 25 years, has been responsible for clicking some breathtaking pictures of Bollywood celebrities as a part of his annual calendar. This year, the ace photographer landed into controversy for bold clicks of actresses Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. However, the matter worsened when he was accused of plagiarising Kiara's photoshoot by drawing inspiration from the work of International photographer Marie Barsch. Marie, on her Instagram, shared Kiara's topless picture and slammed Dabboo for copying the idea.
Addressing the same, Dabboo, on his Instagram, on Sunday, cleared the air. The ace celebrity photographer informed that he clicked a picture of Tabu back in 2002 with a similar leaf concept. Sharing his click, Dabboo wrote, "This timeless & mesmerising shot of Tabu was taken in the year 2001 and it featured in my calendar in the year 2002. There’s been a lil noise about @kiaraaliaadvani ‘s breathtaking 2020 calendar shot with leaf ! Guess if I can reuse my camera, I can definitely repeat my own concept ! & if at all that doesn’t go well with trolls, then I admit to plagiarising MY OWN SELF #loveandpeace @dabbooratnani @manishadratnani Huge Thanks to my friends who trust me !
