Watch: Vicky Kaushal makes an attempt to escape the paranormal in the teaser of Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship

Vicky Kaushal, after winning over the hearts of the audience with his past films, is all set to venture into the zone of horror with Karan Johar-backed Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship. The project which is set against the ruins of an ancient ship, has generated the right amount of curiosity and anticipation among fans. Now, after much wait, the makers of this spookfest drew curtains from its teaser today (January 31) and oh darling, it is indeed pretty scary. The makers, before releasing the much-awaited teaser, adopted a unique strategy to gear up the audience for the ride in the seas of horror by making changes to the logo of Dharma Productions which is producing Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship.

The teaser begins with the shot of a stranded ship in the middle of the sea. Soon, we spot Vicky inside the ruined ship, in search of some unknown object. Moments later, he finds himself in a room in which his picture is inscribed on the wall with blood-stained hands. Suddenly, the unexpected takes place, leaving him gasping for breath and help. Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship marks the directorial debut of Bhanu Pratap Singh and produced by Karan, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. It is scheduled to release on February 21, 2020, and also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. The film is said to be the first part of the franchise and also touted to be based on a true incident that took place in Mumbai.
