Saif Ali Khan is back working with Ajay Devgn in Om Raut's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which also stars Kajol. In their latest outing together, Ajay essays Tanhaji Malusare, who fought the battle of Sinhagad against Udaybhan Singh Rathod, played by Saif. For his look, Saif is sporting long hair and a beard as he plays the antagonist.

Now in a recent video shared on Instagram, Saif revealed his son Taimur Ali Khan’s reaction to his look in the film and it is all things adorable. “Taimur will call me, ‘Sardarji, Sardarji!’” Saif said in the clip as Taimur looks at him eagerly while he gets into his Udaybhan get-up.

For the unversed, Udaybhan Rathod was a Rajput officer in Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s army. Talking about his transformation, Saif mentioned, “This is a change of look because I have had a daadi (beard) and a look in this whole film. I’m playing a famous character in Indian history. I don’t think you can mention Tanhaji’s story without Udaybhan’s story."

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a biographical period drama film, which also stars Luke Kenny, Ajinkya Deo and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on January 10.
