The ball was in someone else's court: Hardik Pandya talks about his comeback post 'Koffee with Karan' controversy

Appearing on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan proved very expensive for cricketer Hardik Pandya. His sexist and crass remarks on the show landed him in loads of trouble. After being asked to give an explanation for his remarks by the BCCI in a show cause notice, he was suspended from the Ind-Aus ODI series apart from losing out on a plump endorsement deal. In fact, he has not played for India since September last year as he suffered a back injury.

However, he feels that he has come back stronger after witnessing that phase in his career. In conversation with a leading magazine, Hardik talked about the entire fiasco and said, "We as cricketers did not know what was going to happen. The ball was not in my court, it was in some else’s court where they had to take the shot and that’s a very vulnerable place you don’t want to be. He further revealed that he is hopeful for yet another good comeback as he has been 'lucky' so far in those cases.
