It won't be wrong to say Siddhant Chaturvedi, with just one film, managed to become the heartthrob of the nation. With a perfect blend of good looks and great acting chops, the actor is on every filmmakers' list. Siddhant, after keeping his fans waiting to know about his next post Gully Boy, gave a major surprise by announcing not just one, but two films. His second Bollywood venture will be Yash Raj Films' Bunty Aur Babli 2 with newcomer Sharvari Wagh and the third is Shakun Batra's next co-starring Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday. Soon after Siddhant announced his film with Deepika, his admirers couldn't keep calm and expressed their happiness. However, among several appreciation messages, one social media user seemed to get a little offended and threatened to kill the actor.
The user, on Siddhant's announcement post, wrote that he will kill him for romancing Deepika. Siddhant, recently during an interview with an entertainment portal, replied to the person with a winning reply. The user wrote, "Bhai mai tera khoon kar dunga ab. Sa*le tujhe Deepika ko romance karne ka moka mil gaya." In response to this, Siddhant, while giggling, said, "Thik hai, kya karu yaar? Ek baar kar lenge romance, fir khoon kar dena mera tu hi. Uske baad mai aise hi mar jaunga romance karte karte unko."
Speaking of the film starring Deepika and Ananya, it is produced by Karan Johar under his banner, Dharma Productions. The yet-to-be-titled project is said to revolve around modern-day relationships. It is directed by Shakun, who has given films like Kapoor & Sons and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and will go on floors early next year and will release on February 12, 2021.
