Indian Idol Season 11 has been impressing the audience lately, thanks to its contestants. Be it Sunny Hindustani from Punjab, Rohit Raut from Maharashtra, Adriz Ghosh from West Bengal to Jannabi Das from Delhi. Recently, Deepika Padukone graced the show's sets to promote her upcoming film Chhapaak. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film co-starring Vikrant Massey feature Deepika as an acid attack survivor named Malti.
During the show, Rishabh Chaturvedi, a contestant on Indian Idol Season 11, gave a beautiful performance on Deepika's songs, Ankhon mein Teri and Mai Agar Kahoon. However, he was apparently only impressing DP to woo Alia Bhatt, who he is a huge fan of. In that context, he even asked Deepika what is Alia’s favorite food. To which Deepika replied by saying that Alia loves fruits and in a jest also mentioned, "Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai".
Well, that's wit and sass combined! Right Deepika?
Deepika further gave a piece of advice to him and said, "It is important to win the competition, but the more important part is to enjoy the journey. Sometimes we only focus on the destination and forget the process so I would like to tell you to enjoy your journey of Indian Idol. Keep learning from judges."
