During the event, Laxmi, from whom the film is inspired by, spoke about spreading awareness about acid attack.

During the media interaction at the song launch, Laxmi said back in 2013 there wasn't much awareness regarding acid attacks. But as soon as the survivors came out in the open without hesitation, more people got to know about the horrendous acts. Adding further, Laxmi said it is necessary to bring out the cause as the society's mindset is filled with 'acid'. She went on to say that the film will destroy it all. With a smile on her face, Laxmi said those who have been through acid attacks, emerge as fighters and not victims.
