Well-known TV and film actor Kushal Punjabi’s untimely death due to suicide sent shock waves in the showbiz industry. Several Bollywood celebs who had worked him as well as his friends from the TV fraternity expressed their deep grief and shock over the sad news. No one had expected that Kushal was so depressed that he could take such a drastic step.
His biker group friends like Chetan Hansraj, Apurva Agnihotri, Rajesh Khera and others did not see this coming especially when the actor was supposedly partying just a couple of days back. An entertainment portal reported that Kushal was partying with Apurva, his wife Shilpa Saklani, Meet Bros and Kushal Tandon two days before he killed himself.

The portal asked Harmeet of Meet Bros whether they sensed anything amiss in Kushal’s behaviour. To this he said, “We met him a couple of days back. He was a very private person. Even if u tried talking to him, just like a brother to brother, he would never divulge anything about his personal life."
Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal who was a close friend of Kushal told the portal, “We are in Phuket right now. I am completely shattered. Can't believe that someone so fit and positive would do something like this." He also added that they were unaware about Kushal’s troubled marriage with Audrey Dolhen. Kushal is survived by his three-year-old son, his parents and sister.
