On December 20, fans of Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Sidharth Malhotra got a pre-Christmas gift with the announcement of their collaboration for an Indra Kumar film. The yet-to-be-titled film marks the reunion of Ajay and Rakul after De De Pyaar De while it will be Sidharth's maiden venture with the Singham actor. The announcement of this film has surely sent us all into a zone of excitement. While details of the project are being kept under tight wraps, Ajay, during an interview with a leading daily, revealed that it won't be a typical Indra Kumar style film and has comedy and drama in abundance. Ajay is said to play the modern-day Yamraj.
"All I can say for now is that it’s not a typical Indra Kumar; it’s got comedy and drama," Ajay told.
In the past, Indra and Ajay have collaborated for blockbusters namely, Ishq, Masti and the recently released Total Dhamaal. This film is scheduled to release in Summer 2021.
Workwise, Ajay is gearing up for the release of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, directed by Om Raut. Apart from Ajay, the film stars Saif Ali Khan and Kajol. It will release on January 10, 2020. On the other hand, Rakul will be seen opposite Arjun Kapoor in Kaashvie Nair's cross-border rom-com and with John Abraham in Attack. Sidharth was last seen in Marjaavaan.
