Shilpa Shetty, after a thirteen-year long sabbatical, will be returning to the silver screens with not just one but two interesting films. While Shilpa's first comeback film is Sabbir Khan's Nikamma, the second one will be Priyadarshan's Hungama 2. Talking about Nikamma, which has already managed to create a positive stir across the industry, also stars Abhimanyu Dassani and YouTuber Shirley Setia. Soon after the coming-of-age film went on floors, fans of the gorgeous actress, who were waiting to watch her cast her magic on screen, went into a zone of excitement and kept on their toes for further updates. Now, in a piece of delightful news for Shilpa's, Abhimanyu's and Shirley's fans, the makers, on Tuesday, announced the release date of Nikamma. The film will hit the screens on June 5, 2020.
Shilpa, sharing the announcement on Instagram, unveiled Abhimanyu's and Shirley's pictures from a photoshoot done for the film. "Super excited to announce that #Nikamma is releasing on 5th June, 2020. Have had such an amazing experience working with @sabbir24x7, @abhimanyud & @ShirleySetia, and now, I can’t wait for you guys to watch it! Mark the date! See you in the theatres! ," Shilpa wrote.
Nikamma is directed by Shabbir and jointly produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Sabbir Khan Films.
