A few days ago, reports did the rounds that Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey will be teaming up with each other for a romantic thriller financed by Aanand L Rai. Now, confirming the collaboration of the powerhouses of talent, the makers, on Tuesday, announced the film. Title Haseen Dillruba, the project is said to be a romantic thriller with the premise of a murder mystery. Haseen Dillruba is directed by Vinil Mathew, of Hasee Toh Phasee fame. Aanand, who is co-producing the film with Himanshu Sharma, in an interview with a leading daily, told that the feature film will be an entertaining and engaging watch.
“Haseen Dillruba is a murder mystery within a twisted love story. It is a genre that we have not explored before. I am looking forward to entertaining and engaging the audience with this edgy script,” Aanand told.
Producer Himanshu further added that Haseen Dillruba will be an edge-of-the seat thriller. “It’s always exciting to bring something new to the audience, and this film will be an edge-of-the-seat entertainer. Kanika Dhillon and Vinil Mathew are out to bring something exciting and thrilling to the audience,” Himanshu added.
Haseen Dillruba is produced by Colour Yellow Productions and presented by Eros International and Aanand. It is written by Kanika Dhillon and will release on September 18, 2020.
