Deepika Padukone took the Internet by storm when she made a request to Kartik Aaryan on her Instagram. The request expressed the actress's desire to learn the signature step of the popular song Dheeme Dheeme from Kartik's recently released film Pati, Patni Aur Woh. Accepting the Piku actress's request, Kartik, on December 1, at the Mumbai airport, taught her the step and accounted for loads of fun moments for the spectators to enjoy. While Kartik did the dance brilliantly, it was Deepika who stole the show. Similarly, proving the same yet again, Deepika, at Star Screen Awards 2019, held on Sunday, danced with Kartik on the song.
With swift and effortless dance moves, Deepika matched steps with Kartik while Ananya Panday, who is playing 'woh' Tapasya Singh in Pati, Patni Aur Woh taught Ranveer Singh the step, asking him to join in. However, the Gully Boy actor, after initial attempts, failed to match up to his wife's fluency.

Workwise, Ranveer and Deepika will share the screen space for the first time after marriage in Kabir Khan's '83 where Ranveer plays the role of Kapil Dev while Deepika is his wife, Romi Dev. The film is scheduled to release on April 10, 2020. Kartik will be seen in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal sequel, followed by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dostana 2. Ananya will star with Ishaan Khatter in Khaali Peeli.
