Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya starrer Dostana 2 has been garnering news ever since it was announced. The film is a sequel to Priyanka Chopra’s, Abhishek Bachchan’s and John Abraham’s 2008 hit film. Directed by Collin D’Cunha the film has already gone on floors in Punjab with Janhvi kickstarting the shoot.
Today, Kartik took to his Instagram to share a BTS picture from the sets. In the picture, the actor can be seen hiding his face behind the clapboard that gives details about Dostana’s shots. He captioned the image as, “#Dostana2 Begins !!! @karanjohar @janhvikapoor @itslakshya @collindcunha."
Previous to this, Kartik had shared a candid picture of him seeking blessings from Karan Johar who is producing the film before he joins the unit. Kartik had captioned the image as, “Maa da laadla #Chandigarh nikal gaya #Dostana2 !! The Dharma rivaaz that all actors need to follow before starting a Dharma film @karanjohar.”
Reportedly, in Dostana 2 Kartik and Janhvi play siblings who fall for the same guy played by Lakshya. The film is slated to release in 2020.
