Akshay Kumar's upcoming action film Sooryavanshi, co-starring Katrina Kaif is undoubtedly among the highly anticipated projects of early 2020. The Rohit Shetty directorial, which marks the fourth film of the cop universe franchise, has managed to keep fans of the franchise and the actors on their toes which interestingly BTS videos and still straight from the shoot sets a while ago. And now as the film is inching towards its wrap, the excitement is surely at the peak. Amidst this, report of a leading daily has it that the makers of Sooryavanshi are planning to film a song which is inspired by carnival. As per sources close to the film, during a month-long schedule in Hyderabad, Rohit, in his signature larger-than-life style will be shooting for a song which has been designed on the lines of those shown in Golmaal Again and Simmba. With an elaborate set and around 300 background dancers, the carnival song will bring the entire cast of the cop thriller together.
"On the cards for the month-long final schedule in Hyderabad is the shoot of some action scenes, including a car chase sequence featuring Akshay. But Rohit is the most gung-ho about filming the dance number. In his signature style, the director has envisioned it as a larger-than-life, carnival song that will see the entire cast of the cop thriller come together. It will be along the lines of the title tracks of Golmaal Again (2017) and Simmba (2018). An elaborate set will be built for the song, which will also feature as many as 300 background dancers," the source close to the development informed the daily.
PeepingMoon.com, in an exclusive dated October 1, 2019, informed its readers that Akshay, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn will reunite for an epic crossover climax in Hyderabad and proving it right, Akshay shared a picture from the shoot on his Instagram account.
Speaking of Sooryavanshi, the film is directed by Rohit and produced by him with Karan Johar and Akshay. The film revolves around Anti Terrorism Squad Chief Veer Sooryavanshi, who will tackle the evil-doers in his unique way. Sooryavanshi will release on March 27, 2020.
