After the wedding galore, these celebrities are all set to celebrate their first Karva Chauth this year on October 17. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh

After dating for over half a decade, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh finally decided to make their relationship official by tying the knot last year in November. Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot on November 14 and 15 at Lake Como, Italy. The couple later hosted three receptions in India. Now, DeepVeer is all set for their first Karva Chauth ever.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas

Priyanka Chopra took her fans by surprise after she went public with her relationship with American singer-actor Nick Jonas in 2018. The two then tied the knot on December 1 and 2. The wedding took place in Umaid Bhavan Palace in the presence of their family, friends and loved ones. The couple too honoured both their cultures by getting married in two ceremonies – Christian and Hindu. Their dreamy wedding pictures and details were a treat for all of their fans out there and now the two are all set to celebrate their first Karva Chauth. It will be interesting to see if Priyanka, who currently lives in New York, will follow the tradition.

Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah

Pooja Batra married Tiger Zinda Hai actor Nawab Shah in a private ceremony in New Delhi in presence of both of their families. The two had been dating for five months, after which they decided to tie the knot. Pooja and Nawab will be celebrating their first Karva Chauth together.

Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain

Kolkata actresses turned MP Nusrat Jahan married Nikhil Jain this year in June. The Bengali politician has been under the ner for her inter-caste marriage, and also received flak for wearing sindoor, and also recently participating in Durga Puja despite being a Muslim. It seems like Karva Chauth would just be another festival for her to celebrate since she has time and again maintained that she ‘respects people of all religion’.

Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani

Shloka tied the knot to her childhood sweetheart Akash on March 9, 2019, after dating for a kong time. Now, the two will be celebrating their first Karva Chauth together.
