Akshay Kumar's upcoming film with Katrina Kaif titled Sooryavanshi has managed to keep his fans excited and anxious. With Akshay collaborating with Rohit Shetty, the film assures to be nothing less than an explosion of entertainment onscreen. And now, as the film is about to wrap, Akshay along with the team of Sooryavanshi headed to Hyderabad to shoot for the climax, proving us right yet again. PeepingMoon.com, in an exclusive piece, dated October 1, had informed its readers that Akshay along with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, who played the titular role in the prequels of Sooryavanshi that is Singham and Simmba respectively, will be filming for the climax together, making it an epic crossover sequence. Proving us correct, on Thursday, Akshay, on Instagram, shared a picture with Ranveer and Ajay in their iconic cop attire. Ah! With the powerful trio coming together and blessing our feeds, what else do Bollywood lovers still need!
"The desi Avengers of the Cop universe! When Bajirao ‘Singham’ meets Sangram ‘Simmba’ Bhalerao meets Veer #Sooryavanshi, expect not just fireworks but a full-blown blast on 27th March, 2020," Akshay wrote while sharing the picture.
Rohit's cop universe film series started in 2011 with Ajay-Kajal Aggarwal starrer Singham, which proved to be a box-office winner. Later, in 2014, Ajay collaborated with Rohit for Singham Returns, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan. Simmba, starring Ranveer with Sara Ali Khan was the recent film from the series, which like the previous ones, broke all box-office records. For the climax of Simmba, Ajay made a special appearance in his cop avatar to help Ranveer battle evildoers while Akshay gave a glimpse of Sooryavanshi during the closing titles.
Sooryavanshi stars Akshay as ATS Chief Veer Sooryavanshi and is scheduled for a March 27, 2020 release.
