'He watched Mary Kom by himself,' says Priyanka Chopra Jonas on being asked if Nick Jonas has watched any of her Bollywood film

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, with an array of films in Bollywood and now in Hollywood, has managed to showcase her acting prowess and proved to be a master of her craft. Be it comedy or emotional, the actress does it with natural ease, making us all fall in love with her and her talent. While all her fans have never left any opportunity to catch up on her films and admire them, we are left wondering whether her American pop singer husband Nick Jonas has watched any of them. Giving an answer to this, Priyanka, who is currently gearing up for the release of her film The Sky Is Pink, during an interview with a leading daily, revealed that while she was away travelling, he watched Mary Kom, in order to cope up with her absence. She further added that the couple is still in a phase of exploring and discovering each other's profession.

"He watched Mary Kom by himself one day. I was travelling and he called me and said, ‘Babe, I am missing you, so I am watching your movie’. I thought that was really sweet. Right now, we are both discovering each other’s professional lives. Before I met him, I didn’t know much about the Jonas Brothers and their music. He is discovering my work, too. We share things like…. this is my first video, this is the movie I am embarrassed about and stuff like that," Priyanka told in the interview.

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in Jodhpur in December last year. The ceremony was attended by family members of the couple along with a few of their close friends. They got married according to both Hindu and Christian rituals.

Talking about Priyanka's Hindi comeback film after three years, The Sky Is Pink is based on the late motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who breathed her last in 2015 after suffering from pulmonary fibrosis, a respiratory disorder in which scars are formed in the lung tissues. Zaira Wasim plays the role of Aisha while Priyanka and Farhan Akhtar are Aditi and Niren Chaudhary respectively. The film is directed by Shonali Bose and bankrolled by Roy Kapur Film, in association with S K Global and Priyanka's production house Purple Pebble Pictures. It is scheduled to release on October 11, 2019.
